2013 is dwindling down and we like to reflect on some of this year's most popular phrases, shows, and people we hope to quickly forget about in the new year:

8)  Reality shows that make people in the south look really bad - example: Swamp People, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Duck Dynasty, etc.
7)  Anything related to a Kardashian - this is unrealistic to think that they will somehow go away quietly from the public eye but I'm trying to throw it out in the universe in hopes they will become irrelevant in 2014.
6)  FroYo - what happened to the good old days of ice cream?
5)  Dennis Rodman - there's no "rebounding" from your new friendship with your bud from North Korea.  Next time you visit... please stay.
4)  Pretzel Burgers - There's no need to try and fix something that's not broke.
3)  Twerking - no need to elaborate
2)  The phrase, "Y.O.L.O!" (you only live once).  This is an obvious statement... of course you only live once... why scream it in a bar while dancing horrible to house music.

Be an Angel this holiday season

Let's be honest, Christmas comes earlier every year. We don't want to rush past turkey day but we are passionate about another thing other than cars. At Sport Durst Automotive, we like to help people. Stop by and pick up an angel tree and bring back a gift to give to children of Durham. Here's a little more info...

Christmas Angel Tree:

The true impact of the Great Recession is tough to measure. Americans have lost money, jobs and homes. Our families and friends may have fallen on hard times. Some who had little to begin with now have less and are working harder everyday to make it to tomorrow. These same families who are struggling to meet the financial demands of day-to-day life question how they might provide a gift or two for their children on Christmas Day. Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. And thanks to supporters of The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, thousands of American children will find this waiting under their Christmas trees this year. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing or toys for children of needy families through the support of donors. Visit Sport Durst's Chrysler Showroom, and you'll find an Angel Tree decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child in need of presents. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.
